    In fact, we believe our caring atmosphere contributed to our college's designation as one of only 15 schools across the U.S. to receive a 2010-2011 Award of Distinction from our accrediting body.

    Technical Training and Career Training at Our Webster Campus

    Our students share a sense of belonging and camaraderie as they engage in learning and are often seen socializing or studying together during break time.

    Everyone seems to know our Receptionist, Admissions Representatives, Career Services team members, Librarian, and Student Finance staff, who keep in touch with students by phone and email and are available to speak with students and help them when they need it.

    Support for specific Houston degree or diploma programs also includes:

    • Style shows and competitions that encourage our Cosmetology diploma students and faculty to network, get involved, and help others in the community.
    • Our Campus designation as a testing site for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam, which our Medical Billing and Coding diploma students can choose to take

    At Remington College - Houston Southeast Campus, we understand the importance of networking with local businesses and industries in various field. Some of our advisors, mentors, and guest speakers in the Webster area have included:(1)

      • City of Webster officials, who bring Emergency Awareness Training to the Campus.
    • Susan Cockerham, with Change Happens, who comes to our Campus regularly to assist our students with community resources to help prevent barriers to their education.

    Extracurricular Student Activities

    Our Webster Campus hosts blood drives, bone marrow donation drives, health fairs, and job fairs throughout the year. We also sponsor annual campaigns like the Marine Corps' Toys for Tots drive and our own Remington College Adopt Our School and Cuts for Kids programs. These events get our students out into the community and bring the community into our Campus.
